Job Summary | The School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY seeks a candidate with expertise in Architectural Lighting Design at the Assistant Professor level (on tenure-track) or Associate Professor level (with tenure) who will teach Lighting courses as part of the Graduate Lighting, Bachelor of Architecture, and Master of Architecture degree programs. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

Job Summary | The Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a faculty position in Game Development to begin Fall 2024, to teach courses in game design, development, and production. Appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Professor of Practice, with a multi-year, renewable contract. |
Minimum Qualifications | Applicants must possess an MFA, PhD, or foreign equivalent in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Evidence of effective teaching, and the ability to demonstrate, through accomplishment, promise of academic, scholarly and/or research achievement. They will demonstrate proficiency in one or more game engines, along with a robust background in project management and production processes within the gaming industry. Additionally, candidates must exhibit a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. For appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer, candidates must also have attained a significant level of scholarly activity, research output, or individual creative practice. A Professor of Practice has obtained unique professional experience, has distinguished research, and/or has performed at an executive or officer level, and has made a significant impact within the field of games. A Professor of Practice is expected to have substantial leadership experience of at least (10-15 years) and generally a national or international reputation for excellence in their field of expertise. Description
As a Children's Health Home Care Manager, you will engage youth and families through outreach activities until enrollment into the Children's Health Home program. You will coordinate and monitor subsequent services to meet the needs of your members. You will report to a program supervisor, working in a hybrid model. Work will involve a combination of remote, office, and community-based settings. Local travel and personal transportation is required.
Responsibilities:
- Level I - Provides care management services to children with low and medium acuities. Care Manager will provide the required one or two services each month based on acuity and need. One of these contacts is to be in-person with the member.
- Level II - Provides care management services to low, medium, and high acuity members. Care Manager will provide a minimum of two services each month, one of which is to be in person with the member.
- Engage children, youth, and families with outreach and enrollment activities for successful enrollment into a children's health home
- Gather and complete assessments and enter documentation that confirms eligibility and acuity, identifying both strengths and areas of need
- Work w/children, youth, families, and service providers to create a comprehensive Plan of Care
- Identify and engage additional providers (e.g. natural supports, parent advocates, primary care physicians) with youth and families for the execution and continuation of the Plan of Care
- Convene and conduct Interdisciplinary team meetings to review Plan of Care; identifying progress, continued needs, and confirming ongoing eligibility
- Document progress and arrange for transitions between systems, placements, and higher levels of care following changes in eligibility and acuity.
- Use NY State and Health Home information systems to input required Health Home documentation
- Comply with Medicaid and program billing regulations
- Complete all required and recommended trainings

Job Summary | The Sr. Major Gift Officer (MGO) will serve as the Senior Regional Director of Development for the Southwest Region of the United States and will be responsible for developing a regular cadence of strategic opportunities focused on engaging existing and prospective major donors with the end goal of qualifying, soliciting, and closing major gifts. This role will serve as the primary strategist and staff person for the Texas Triangle Executive Council. The Sr. MGO must collaborate with and convene other Development & Alumni Engagement stakeholders in the region to ensure a coordinated and thoughtful approach to all activities meant to engage RPI’s leading prospects and donors. These stakeholders include but are not limited to Principal Giving, Major Giving, Alumni Relations, and School-/College-affiliated colleagues. Additionally, the Senior Regional Director of Development carries a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift prospects who have the capacity to make gifts in the range of $100,000 - $2.49 million This position will oversee various special projects in the region as assigned by their director. |

Job Summary | The Director, Student Activities develops and directs comprehensive student involvement and activities programs that inspire school spirit, amplify the RPI student experience, and support the unique student-staff partnership that characterizes the operation of the Rensselaer Union. This includes employing best practices in facilitating student's personal and professional development, creating opportunities for developmental growth, strengthening student clubs (including student government and class councils), and contributing to student recruitment and retention in support of the enrollment, graduation, and student success of both undergraduate and graduate students. Advise student leaders and organization representatives in their development and execution of events, activities, and programs, including; financial planning, safety, and liability/risk compliance in collaboration with the office of risk management. |
